  3. terminate: verb: to bring to an end. We had to terminate our bike ride when it began to rain heavily.
  4. pungent: adjective: sharp or strong to the senses of taste or smell. The pungent odor of fish could be smelled from one end of the wharf to the other.

  3. abominable: adjective: something hideous and unappealing. synonym: disgusting. As we approached the garbage dump, the abominable odor nearly knocked me out!

  4. exquisite: adjective: of exceptional beauty; finely made. The exquisite embroidery must have taken hours to complete.
