  2. dormant: adjective: not active; sleeping. The volcano has been dormant for hundreds of years.
  3. remote: adjective: 1. far away. 2. small; slight. The cabin was in a remote location about 25 miles from the nearest town. There was a remote chance that visitors would drop by.
  4. extravagant: adjective: spending lots of money in a free and careless way. He was extravagant in his purchase of expensive gifts for his friends.

  3. ravenous: adjective: very hungry. The ravenous kittens all fought for aa place at the saucer of milk.
  4. facilitate: verb: to make less difficult; to help to progress. The outdoor drop box facilitates teh return of library materials.

  3. jut: verb: to stick our sharply. The ocean scenery along this part of teh coast is made more interesting by rocks that jut out of the water.
